Meet our CEO / President

Meet Angelika Arnold!
A devoted wife of nearly 30 years, proud mother of two, and loving grandmother of five, Angelika has dedicated her life to serving others with compassion, strength, and purpose.
With more than two decades of experience in the Criminal Justice field working with both juveniles and adults, she built a career centered on advocacy, accountability, and second chances. She later transitioned into education, where she has spent the past six years teaching and mentoring students while pursuing her passion for the “whole child”; social emotional wellness and academically.
After the heartbreaking loss of her son, with God’s strength and guidance, she transformed her grief into action by founding The Mandrale A. Henry Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting grieving families nationwide. Through both in-person and virtual support groups, community outreach, and healing initiatives, the foundation provides safe spaces for connection, hope, and restoration.
Looking ahead, Angelika’s vision is to expand the foundation’s reach nationwide through accessible virtual support groups, ensuring that no family has to grieve alone. She is currently developing a comprehensive training curriculum to equip group leaders to faithfully carry out the mission, values, and standards of the foundation in communities across the country.
Guided by her core framework of resilience and learning how to live life after loss, Angelika empowers others to move forward with strength, faith, and purpose. Whether in the classroom, counseling setting, community, and on her grief journey, she remains committed to helping people heal, grow, and thrive.
Follow her journey as she continues to make a lasting impact — one breath at a time.

Our Background
On November 10, 2019, Mandrale was killed at the age of 26 at his then home in Stillwater Oklahoma. He was the father of an 8-month-old son that he loved more than anything in this world. His murder had no motive and the true story of how and why he was murdered is still not evident.

This foundation was established for several reasons; to keep his memory alive, to show awareness of gun violence, and to aid other grieving parents in finding ways of coping with the loss of their children. Our goal and mission is to create an atmosphere to give parents the openness to share their story and hear our story and heal together.

Mandrale was a loving, caring, lover of God, and a worshipper. The goal of this foundation is centered around his character and everything that he believed in.

*Vision*
"The Next Day" Support Group
“The Next Day”- came from my experience!

After the initial shock of the tragedy, it was then the next day, when the sun shines again, but did it really shine?….This was my most difficult day after losing my son hence where the support group name originated from. I never dreamed that I would see the sun shine again! God loves me so much, He made it possible.
"The Next Day" Support group is a group that will provide a safe and confidential space for individuals to share their feelings, experiences, and learn coping strategies related to the loss of a child or loved one. We offer emotional support, understanding, and a sense of community.
Support group involvement can be a crucial step in the healing process, providing the necessary support during a difficult time.
